Bouchut Heads For More Trouble

David Legangneux caught these images after Saturday's FFSA GT race at Val de Vienne.

Christophe Bouchut had been at the wheel of the SRT Corvette C5-R, and had been contesting third place with Philippe Alliot (in the similar PSI car).

The two C5-Rs collided on the last lap, Bouchut dropping from third to fifth, Alliot finishing fourth - the pair of them beaten home by the Larbre Ferrari of Jerome Policand. In parc fermé, Alliot was still climbing from his car when Bouchut approached, with the intention of 'discussing' the incident.

Neither car started Sunday's second race, Bouchut having crashed his car in the morning, during the qualifying session, while Alliot crashed his car during the warm-up (running slicks on a wet track).

The two races were won by the Ayari / Hernandez Saleen (on Saturday) and the Lesoudier / Makowiecki Mirabeau Viper (Sunday).
