Mann at Lola
Anthony Mann is part of our CAD team at Lola and also a popular
and respected member of the company – writes Sam Smith.
He was diagnosed with leukaemia in 2002 and underwent the necessary
treatment throughout 2003. Thankfully, despite the odds being stacked
against him, he is now in remission and leading a full and active
life again, re-joining Lola in January 2004.
brought to our attention recently that he is going to take part
in the London Marathon next week, and subsequently raise money for
the Leukaemia Research Fund. The fund raising is going well and
just about everyone at Lola is sponsoring him.
Anthony himself (right) adds that “with tremendous support
from Lola personnel, family, friends and complete strangers, to
date I believe I have received over £1,200 in pledges of sponsorship
- my goal is to raise £2000.

1 in 25 people will develop blood cancer in their lifetime, blood
cancers are the biggest cause of death in the under 35s and leukaemia
is the most common cancer in children.”

Williams at the EERC
Claire, the EERC’s Race Secretary, explains that “as
you may or may not be aware, I’m doing the Race for Life on
June 11, on behalf of Cancer Research. I was wondering if I could
