Revised FFSA GT Calendar
SRO has just released the revised 2006 calendar for the FFSA GT Championship. It is slightly different from the first one which had been released previously by the FFSA.

Nogaro: April 15-17
Lédenon: April 28-30
Dijon: May 19-21
Pau: June 3-5
Val de Vienne: June 23-25
Albi: September 8-10
TBA: September/October
Magny-Cours: October ?

So a new event is now being scheduled, on a circuit TBA, between Albi and Magny-Cours. As for Magny-Cours, FFSA GT’s last round, the date is still to be confirmed. This fixture is due to be run in conjunction with British GTs (GT2 only) – and October 14/15 was the originally announced date for this one.

There are likely to be British GT date changes anyway.

As for the entrants, the defending champions, Bornhauser and Thévenin will field the VBM Viper again and Beltoise / Blanchemain will race the Lease Plan Autovitese Viper.

Fabien Giroix’s First Racing has bought the Force One cars and facilities and should race two, maybe three, Vipers. Larbre Compétition is likely to race two Maranellos, one for Policand / Balthazard and one for Goueslard / TBA. The DDO Saleen should be back, Dupuy / Fiat still at the wheel. There will be
one SRT Corvette for Cayrolle / Soave, as already scheduled, and maybe a second one. DSM could race one or two Lamborghini Murcielagos.
