Australian Embassy
Now Embassy Racing boss Jonathan France has got us really confused.

dailysportscar.comHaving spent the season backing the Embassy Corvette in British GTs – with some single-seater backing elsewhere too, plus the Embassy girls, plus supporting programme production at one meeting, and Embassy Radio – he then popped up at the Zhuhai FIA GT meeting, backing the RJN Motorsport Nissan 350Z, with drivers Neil Cunningham (left) and Ben Collins.

With Cunningham already confirmed with the team next year, the Australo-Kiwi has now turned up ‘back home’, at Queensland Raceway, testing a V8 Supercar for Howard Racing.

dailysportscar.com“Our plans for 2005 are firmly on course and these will be revealed when I feel the time is right,” says France (right). “I have no doubt that Embassy will use British GT as a springboard to other series and obviously, Australian V8 is one of the world’s most prestigious Championships. Neil is out there at the moment and testing is going well.

“I would love for Embassy to be represented in V8s – who knows it might happen very soon.”

It’s a small world isn’t it? We’re half expecting Neil Cunningham to be spotted in a JGTC car next… or an IRL car… or a DP…or…or…
