The Mello Breyner brothers’ sponsors are apparently very satisfied
with the team’s efforts in the Spanish GT Championship, and
the plan is to upgrade from the 911 GT2 to a new 911 GT3-RSR for
2005 – writes Sergio Fonseca.
The Portuguese pair was
interested in the SEAT Cupra GT, but was faced with difficulties
securing one of the cars.
ASM Team is going to run two Porsche 911 GT3-RSs in the championship
next year: Pedro Couceiro and Miguel Pais do Amaral are going to
run a fourth season together and former GTB category runner Pedro
Rezende is interested in moving up to the GTA class.
GTA Motor Competicion
is rumoured to be making a return to the series. According to the
Spanish press, Domingo Ochoa’s team wants to buy a SEAT Cupra
GT for Formula 3 runner up Manuel Gião and Spanish SEAT star
The Italian Mastercar
team is considering giving up its Ferrari 360 Modena: Portuguese
driver Pedro Névoa and the team want to build a project around
the brand new 430 model.
