The Coopers Ales Ferrari Wins The Final
Allan Simonsen and David Brabham won the most important one, the one hour final at the Bahrain GT Festival this afternoon – with the Larbre Viper taking second from the DDO Saleen on the last lap.

GT2 went to the Long / Nielsen ‘Maldives’ Farnbacher Porsche, from the Gillet Vertigo and the Tech 9 Porsche RS, while GT3 went to Jack Leconte’s Porsche, from the #66 Pilot Passion 911 (from 43rd on the grid), the First Racing Porsche and the Team Aero Morgan.

The 'third-placed' Porsche has been excluded for some reason, so the Morgan finishes third - which has to be a best ever international result for an Aero 8. Well done the Moggie.

Full result, report and images to come. Here's the 550 on its way to victory in the Thursday evening race.
