Lister On Pole At Vallelunga
The Lister LMP secured pole position for tomorrow’s Vallelunga Six Hour Gold Cup event, Angelo Lancellotti setting the fastest lap time, a 1:06.375: Lister’s first prototype pole.

No surprise in second spot either, the Lucchini LMP with the time set by Filippo Francioni in 1:07.894. Third overall was the Lucchini SR2 1:11.831 (Favre set the time), while fourth was the Chrysler Viper of Perazzini / Matteuzzi / Cioci (1:12.076).

The other significant runners lined up in the order SR2 Lucchini (the Saccomanno brothers), the second Racing Box Viper of Mastracci / Prandini, then the first of the N-GTs, the RSR of the Autorlando team (Bergmeister / Riolo / Sada…guess who set the time?), and the Tampolli SR2 of Barisoni / Solieri / Vita.

28 cars set qualifying times ahead of tomorrow’s race, which might see some showers.
