'New' Nissans To Hit The Tracks In 2005
Chris Randall was amused to see David Lord's picture of Danny Bear aboard his IMSA spec Nissan NPT-90 on dsc yesterday, and called with the good news that the car will have company on the Group C Revival grid in 2005.

”We're building up two other cars, so there will be chassis 12,14 and 15 potentially active next season,” says Randall. “I'll race one, so will my dad and we'll be looking to sell the third.”

The mighty Nissan has now seen the last of its early season reliability woes and looked set for a race win at Dijon last month, but was hobbled by an absent sixth gear: a podium finish though was a fine reward for the effort (Danny apparently gave it 110%!).

The Nissan was going well again at Donington yesterday too. "We were doing consistent '4's on very old tyres, not bad at all for a circuit that really doesn't suit the car."
