Simonsen / Brabham – Bathurst To Bahrain
Bob Jane T-Marts Bathurst 1000 Kms saw victory for the Holden Commodore
of Greg Murphy and Rick Kelly, from a fleet of Fords in second to
Allan Simonsen finished
tenth overall, one lap down, partnering Nathan Pretty in a Holden,
while David Brabham was seventeenth, sharing a Ford with Owen Kelly.
As already reported,
Simonsen and Brabham will be driving together next month, in the
Bahrain GT Festival – and Bathurst was a chance for them to
get together and show off their Coopers Ales overalls.
