Brabs and Simonsen for Bahrain
dailysportscar.comAllan Simonsen (right) was as quick as ever at Brands Hatch last weekend, as he drove Hector Lester’s Glenvarigill Ferrari in the Cup Class of the British GT Championship.

He’s now rushed back to Australia for the Bathurst 1000 Kms, but will be racing in the Middle East next month, in the Bahrain GT Festival (November 24-26), and will share the Mark Coffey Racing (ex-Rafanelli) Ferrari 550 Maranello with none other than David Brabham.

Brands Hatch on Sunday was as damp and gloomy as could be – quite a contrast with likely Bathurst and Bahrain weather conditions. Here’s Simonsen leading the Cup Class through the murk on Sunday, just ahead of the Adam Sharpe-driven, Tech 9 Porsche. Sharpe will also be racing in Bahrain, in the Tech 9 GT3-RS.
