CvO Testing Last Week
CvO Racing and Thierry Perrier's Pespective Racing were testing on the Bugatti circuit last week: the Ruffier Racing team (with eight GT3-R and Cup Porsches) had booked the circuit for the whole day and had agreed to share the circuit with CvO – writes Claude Foubert.

The CvO chassis entered by Perspective is the second of the series of CN cars, a heavily revised version of the R01, and finished in a stunning blue livery. Perspective and CvO are preparing this car for this weekend’s three hour, VdeV Championship event at Nogaro.

dailysportscar.comThe car ran trouble free throughout a morning of testing at Le Mans, setting a best lap time of 1:41.1, with Romain Rautureau at the wheel.

“That’s as good as a fast 911 GT3 time,” reckoned Thierry Perrier, “and with only 240 bhp.”

“This lap time was set with a full tank,'' commented Christian van Oost.

However late morning the car stopped on the track with an electronics problem. A change of ECU was required, the car not running again until 16.00.

Yann Goudy, a former Formula 3 driver who drove a WR during the 2004 Test Day, was at the wheel. None other than Jérôme¨Policand should drive the car at Nogaro, because Christian Van Oost wants the opinion of fast, experienced drivers about his car.
