Gabriele Tosi brings the news from Tuesday’s AutoSprint…
A long interview
with the former World Champion and F1 team owner concludes with
Alain Prost forecasting that “I’m planning a future
in GT racing with a very important car, but all my plans will be
unveiled at this year’s Spa 24 hours.”
One of the two
EbiMotors Porsche GT3-RSRs (for the Italian GT Championship) will
probably driven by Luca Riccitelli and Dieter Quester, but in contention
are also Max Pigoli and Paolo Ruberti. The other car will be driven
by Matteo Maria Galimberti and either Luigi Moccia or Franco Goppi.
A new team will debut in the Italian GT series this year - CIESSE
Motorsport (owned by Paolo Trinchieri and Stafano Casali). The car
will be a Ferrari 360 from the USA upgraded to 2004 spec. A top
Italian driver is expected to drive the car plus a gentleman driver.
The Autorlando team will race a 911 GT3-RSR in Italy, driven by
Luigi Moccia (see above) and Gianfranco Groppi.
