Sarrazin – Rallying
Former Oreca and Pescarolo sportscar driver, and F1 tester, Stéphane Sarrazin will turn himself into a rally driver this year, because he has won the FFSA Subaru WRC Challenge – writes Claude Foubert.

123 drivers were competing for the drive and three of them were selected for the final tests: Stéphane Sarrazin, Bruce Tirabassi, the 2003 Junior Driver Rally World Champion, and Olivier Jacque, the MotoGP rider.

dailysportscar.comStéphane Sarrazin already has rally experience, having won the Var Rally in 2001, driving a Subaru Impreza.

He will enter the eight rounds of the 2004 French FFSA Rally Championship, plus three World Rally Championship events – which should be the ADAC Rally Deutschland, the Tour de Corse and the Rally Catalunya. There is a chance he could also enter the RAC Rally.

His Subaru is a Prodrive-built machine (right), which will be run by the Belgian team First Motorsport.
