Lavaggi this evening unveiled his self-designed LMP1 contender due
to debut at the Donington Park Le Mans Series race.
The LS1, presented
in the principality of Monaco’s red and white racing colours,
is powered by a 6 litre Ford V8 tuned by PME in the USA, the
engine currently installed was reportedly sourced as an ex
Saleen unit from Franz Konrad. The LS1 also features a 6 speed
box also designed by Lavaggi himself and built by Hewland.
