Camathias Joins Lieb At Autorlando
dailysportscar.comAs suggested yesterday, it will be Swiss driver Joel Camathias alongside Marc Lieb in the lead Autorlando Porsche in the 2006 Le Mans Series.

Camathias raced for the team in the second half of 2005.

“It’s something that I was really looking for in the past years, and now to be part of such a program, it’s fantastic!” says the driver.

“Having official support from Porsche Motorsport and Pirelli Tyres, and having Marc sharing the car with me, it will allow me to learn a lot. I’m very grateful to Mr. Redolfi (Autorlando-Sport Team Owner) for giving me this great opportunity.”

The team owner commented that “Marc Lieb is one of the best Porsche drivers around and Joel in the last few years has become a very fast and regular driver. The 2006 Le Mans Series will be a very tough and competitive Series and we will do our best to succeed.”

The driver and team owner are pictured at the Nurburgring last September, where Camathias and Groppi / Moccia finished third in GT2.
