Thoughts Turn To Silverstone
With British GTs (including a very full entry list) supporting the LMES at Silverstone this coming weekend, we’re in for a very busy three days – and so are some of the drivers and teams.

dailysportscar.comTech 9, GNM and Scuderia Ecosse are entered in the 1000 Kms on Saturday evening and the two hour British GT race on Sunday afternoon – while three drivers are racing in both events: Andrew Kirkaldy and Nathan Kinch in the Scuderia Ecosse Ferraris, and Dan Eagling (right) – in the Racesport Peninsula TVR on Saturday, and Virgo Motorsport’s Ferrari 360 on Sunday. Not much difference in the two cars then!

This will be Eagling’s first race in a Ferrari, although he and Jim McWhirter have tested the car recently, at Snetterton. Dan Eagling raced the TVR to seventh in class at the Spa 1000 Km in April (with car owner John Hartshorne and Richard Stanton), and will be partnered by Stanton and Piers Johnson (who drove it at Le Mans) at Silverstone.

Eagling is working very hard on his plans for 2006.

Previews of both events within 24 hours or so.

PS. Richard Stanton makes it four doing both events: he's partnering Graeme Mundy, in the latter's Porsche, in Sunday's two hour race.
