Second Sebah Porsche For Monza
Marc Lieb christened her the ‘old lady’ – and the 2004 LMES GT(2) winner is back this coming weekend, at Monza.

“We’ve got an entry for the second car, for Marc and Xavier (Pompidou),” comments Sebah team owner Hugh Hayden.

Monza was the start of the Sebah story last year, Piers Masarati and Bart Hayden taking the GT3R to fifth place (below) in the opening race of the LMES. Lieb and Pompidou completed the story six months later, at Spa, where the ‘old lady’ secured the teams title for Hayden’s team.

Sebah will also be running the regular GT3-RSR, for Thorkild Thyrring, Lars Erik Nielsen and Pierre Ehret, “but the two cars will be independently crewed and managed,” says Hugh Hayden.

dailysportscar.comHis team has been hard at it, after is maiden run at Le Mans – to an impressive sixth in GT2.

“The (LMES) game has been upped all round since last year,” suggests Hayden, “but we’ll be looking for our usual consistency and reliability with both cars, and we’ll see where we end up. But the old lady hasn’t run since Spa last year.”

Mike Rockenfeller joins the entry list too, in the Autorlando Porsche. Full preview to come.
