Another Lola B05/40 Has A Great Shakedown
Bob Berridge and Peter Owen were out at Snetterton today, getting to know the Chamberlain-Synergy Lola B05/40 AER. The car was completed just before leaving for the track – but it ran beautifully all day.

“We missed the first session, but I drove for the next two, 45 minute sessions, and Peter has been out for the last one,” reports a suitably pleased Bob Berridge.

“There’s not much to report really – because it ran so well. I did about 60 laps, and even in traffic, I was down to a 63 second lap. We were just playing with it, but the AER is very powerful, and the car has got loads and loads of grip.”

Berridge was very impressed with the top speed he reached along the back straight….

“We might test it next week, but we’ll definitely be at Magny-Cours on March 21-22.”

So that’s two Lola B05/40s and the MG-Lola EX264 completed during the last three weeks – each with a different engine, each running very well first time out. The fourth one will be the Telesis Intersport car.

Images of the Chamberlain-Synergy car to come soon.
