Another All-Belgian LMES Entry
LMES entry news is starting to become firmed up – writes Joost
There will be
second all-Belgian team (besides the G Force Courage) in the LMES
this year, reports autosport.be editor Peter de Sonville.
The 2004 GTB champions Lefort and Lambert will enter, in contrary
to what was communicated earlier this year, their Porsche 996-GT3
RSR in all rounds of the LMES.
"We finally decided
to run in the LMES, because doing any better in Belcar is impossible,”
explains Yves Lambert. “We finished second overall and won
the GTB title last year and improving this result with a regular
Porsche product is impossible; we don't want to enter a biturbo.
Owing to sponsor agreements, we will participate in two rounds of
the national Belcar championship, the two races at Zolder. So there
is a good chance to see us on the grid of the Zolder 24 hours.
"By doing this international
series, our next goal is Le Mans in 2006," concludes a highly
motivated 2004 GTB champion.
