First Images – New Lucchini LMP2
This delightful-looking machine is a first for dsc – the first car designed from scratch to the 2004 LMP regulations (rather than a hybrid).

dailysportscar.comPiergiuseppe Peroni and Filippo Francioni were present to drive it at Adria yesterday evening, and we believe the shakedown went very well.

The Lucchini is powered by the 3.4 litre Judd XV engine (which of course powered the LMP2 winning Intersport Lola at Le Mans).

More testing is planned in the coming weeks, before an anticipated debut at Silverstone’s LMES 1000 Km event. Who said an LMP1 or LMP2 couldn't look good?
