– Le Mans And ALMS Repeats Over Christmas
if you’ve got some time over Christmas – and it won’t
annoy the rest of the family too much – why not tune in to
Globecast over the holiday, and listen to repeats of Radio Le Mans

programme of race repeats.
split Le Mans up into three parts, with part two the same time on
Christmas Day and the final 8 hours on Boxing Day," explains
Hindhaugh. "Our international listeners - or any UK fans that
can't sleep - can tune in to a repeat of the first part as the UK
goes into Christmas Day at midnight, which is 7pm Eastern and 4pm
West Coast USA on Christmas Eve."
The Le Mans
re-run is just part of a schedule that includes Petit Le Mans (including
practice and qualifying) on 28th December from 6am (UK) and again
at a more US friendly 2pm (UK) on 29th, Salt Lake City and Portland
- from 6am on the 29th and Sebring on the 30th and 31st at 6am and
an extensive archive of material available at www.radiolemans.com
and www.0157.org producer Tim
Gray is confident of large audiences. "Not everyone has an
MP3 player, or the space to store this race coverage on their computer.
Sportscar fans have been asking to hear the best
of the 2006 action again on the channel so this is our Christmas
present to them to say thanks for their support this year."
At various times
over the festive period Globecast Radio will also be running a series
of end of year reviews featuring Hindhaugh and the Midweek Motorsport
team. The show, which normally airs on Wednesday at 8pm (UK), has
established itself as Europe's number one international motorsport
programme and will be casting the usual irreverent eye over the
2006 season of major international series including NASCAR, Champ
Car and Formula One.
