In The Barazi-Epsilon Courage
British domiciled, Aussie raised, New Zealand born Neil Cunningham
will be joining team regulars Juan Barazi and Michael Vergers in
the Barazi-Epsilon Courage C65-AER, at the 2006 Le Mans 24 Hours.
The personable Kiwi, who drove the Morgan Aero 8 at the 2004 Le
Mans 24 Hours, inked the deal this evening and will be joining the
Le Mans Series-leading LMP2 squad at this coming weekend’s
Le Mans test day.
“Beaut, mate,” the popular Cunningham
might have said (if it wasn’t too late to call him this evening).
“Le Mans in a prototype, I can’t wait,” he might
Vergers and Jean-Philippe Belloc won the opening round of the Le
Mans Series at Istanbul, and a good finish at Spa (with Davide Valsecchi)
sees Barazi and Vergers leading the points.
