Cunningham In The Barazi-Epsilon Courage
British domiciled, Aussie raised, New Zealand born Neil Cunningham will be joining team regulars Juan Barazi and Michael Vergers in the Barazi-Epsilon Courage C65-AER, at the 2006 Le Mans 24 Hours.

The personable Kiwi, who drove the Morgan Aero 8 at the 2004 Le Mans 24 Hours, inked the deal this evening and will be joining the Le Mans Series-leading LMP2 squad at this coming weekend’s Le Mans test day.

“Beaut, mate,” the popular Cunningham might have said (if it wasn’t too late to call him this evening). “Le Mans in a prototype, I can’t wait,” he might have added.

Barazi, Vergers and Jean-Philippe Belloc won the opening round of the Le Mans Series at Istanbul, and a good finish at Spa (with Davide Valsecchi) sees Barazi and Vergers leading the points.

Neil Cunningham has already raced the Balfe Saleen and the Beechdean Ferrari this year, and finished third overall at Donington Park a week ago, in the 360. Here is the Aussie / Kiwi, on the podium at Donington Park. "Beaut ****, mate!" (said the man who has never read a word we've written about him on dsc.. allegedly because he can't turn a computer on.. so we can get away with anything at all here!)

Now he gets a chance at Le Mans, in a prototype. Preparing for 2007?
