Alphand Gets His Corvette
Luc Alphand Aventures received its Corvette C-5-R yesterday, February 16 – at its base at the Technoparc at Le Mans (writes Claude Foubert).

Olivier Remay, at Luc Alphand Aventures, had informed that the car would arrive in the afternoon, so I could be present to bring the news.

dailysportscar.comThe Corvette arrived at 15.30, having come by road from Roissy, where it had been delivered on Wednesday, directly from Pratt & Miller. This car is chassis #10, the 2004 GT1 winner at Le Mans (#64, for Beretta / Gavin / Magnussen)

The car was still in its ALMS livery.

Luc Alphand has bought the car with three engines, and the plan is to race it at Le Mans, subject to receiving an entry of course, and in the five races of the Le Mans Series. Drivers will be Luc Alphand, Jérôme Policand and David Hallyday.

The car will be despatched for the paint shop today, ready for its new, blue livery to be applied.
