Two Lamborghinis at Le Mans?
The Japanese Lamborghini Owners Club plans to submit an entry for the 2006 Le Mans 24 Hours, for two Murcielagos. In technical cooperation with Reiter Engineering, one Murcielago GT-R will be a car from the Japan Le Mans Challenge, while the other will see Le Mans Series action in Europe this year.

Under the name of B-Racing, long-time Ferrari Challenge racer Norbert Walchhofer and the German RSLine team are moving up into LMS competition with a Murcielago – and the FIA GT Championship too (as reported here before Christmas); Walchhofer will most likely share driving duties with Philipp Peter.

For Le Mans, the B-Racing car will form the second JLOC entry, if the ACO decides to extend an invitation. The official presentation of B-Racing’s 2006 schedule will take place in late March.

Competition for GT1 entries at Le Mans this year looks like being particularly intense.
