16 Entries Confirmed For Le Mans
The ACO has issued a list of 14 entrants and their 16 cars which will definitely be in the 24 Hours line-up in June.

These are the entries which earned a guaranteed place, and which were taken up by their entrants, in the same class for which they qualified, before the closing date (for these cars) of January 9.

24 places had been offered to successful cars that raced in ACO series in 2005 (none were offered to FIA GT entries this time).

The 16 accepted entries are as follows:

Other interested entrants have until midnight on January 18 to submit their applications to race at Le Mans. The ACO has indicated that a provisional list of (additional) accepted entries will be made available at the end of February, and the final list will be released after the Mobil 1 12 Hours of Sebring (March 18).
