Vann Signs For Courage’s C60-H
Sportscar regular Christian Vann was testing a Courage C60-H on the Bugatti Circuit last week – and has now signed to drive the hybrid car in the LMES and at Le Mans. The manufacturer already has one guaranteed LMP1 entry for the 24 Hours.“The opportunity to drive with Courage came up at fairly short notice, so we have worked hard putting all the pieces together,” said the driver, “but the team has been super professional, and having driven the car for the first time last week on the Bugatti circuit, I am really looking forward to this year. The car is very quick and feels bulletproof, so we can go to every race feeling competitive, which is great for any driver.”

Christian Vann was part of the Taurus Sports Lola-Judd effort at Le Mans last year, this entry having worked its way up to the top ten after a superb run – which was then ruined by late-race dramas.

Yves Courage has managed to keep the appearance of the C60-H a secret, but the details will be known no later than the LMES test days on April 1-2. With its relatively large restrictors, and the manufacturer's record for producing 'slippery' cars, this one should be very fast along the five straights at Le Mans. A pole position contender?

Christian Vann brings backing from the Trafigura oil and metals broking group.
