The Palmyr Lucchini
Oddly, especially bearing in mind its colour scheme and the fact
that it finished fourth at Donington Park and second at Spa, we
haven’t shown an image of this car – until now.
Christophe
Ricard (at the wheel, below) explains that “the ‘author’
of the flying elephant is a cartoonist friend of mine, who lives
in Geneva. His name is Gerald Poussin.
“I asked him to
do something "wild" in relation with the team (Palmyr
comes from the palm tree symbol of the city of Nîmes near
the circuit of Ledenon, where the team is based) and the elephant
might have a relation with the fact that I am a bit heavy (90kg
at my best) to race a car...!”
This really
will be the last FIA SCC item here…
