GT racing seems to appeal to all age groups (of drivers). With some
of this year’s British GT pairings having a combined age of
over 100, some of the others will be much younger.
Matt Harris, aged 19, comes to GT racing from a
year in BRDC single seaters, two years in Formula BMW, plus some
Formula Renault and Palmer Audi racing. The highlight of last year
was a win in Formula BMW, but he’s turning his back on single
seaters – partly because of the huge budgets required to step

“The track started out wet, and dried slowly
during the day: I didn’t get a chance at the end when it was
almost dry, but I left there feeling confident that we can go for
partner is also expected to be a young man going places, so the
older drivers had better look out for these two. Next Trackspeed
test will be at Donington Park on Thursday.
