Johansson’s ALMS Drive For 2007
Wherever and whenever he races, things happen: Stefan Johansson raced the factory Zytek at the Nurburgring and Donington Park (Le Mans Series) and Petit Le Mans and Laguna Seca (ALMS) this season, as well as the Racing for Holland Dome at Le Mans – and things happened on each occasion.

In an odd coincidence, dsc’s Deputy Ed. was reading Autosport on his regular run on the London Underground this morning – and looked up to find that Stefan Johansson was also reading it, over his shoulder! Typical racing driver.. ..why buy it when you can read it without paying?

The Swede confirmed that he has a firm ALMS prototype drive for next season – but was unable to elaborate any further.

Zytek designer Tim Holloway, referring to the second half of the 2006 season, said that “Stefan was really good for us: he really puts it on the line.”

So who is going to benefit from his services in 2007? Here he is at Le Mans this year: Tuesday morning, Place des Jacobins, with Allan McNish and Alex Yoong.
