B-K Motorsports – Expanding Ahead of 2007
B-K Motorsports’ Marcus Haselgrove is a busy man at the moment,
not just ahead of the team’s announcement of the 2007 LMP2
programme, confirmed today as “before the end of the year”,
but also with plans underway to expand the team’s efforts
into IMSA Lites.
“We’re looking to run a pair of cars
in Lites next season and if things go well it could develop as a
stepping stone up to the sportscar programme.
“That
would be a big step for any driver: they would have to display really
crushing domination in the Series to look like they were ready.”
One
driver who will have the opportunity to prove that she has the right
stuff is 25 year old Formula Mazda racer Mishael Abbott from Coral
Springs, Florida: she looks to have the first B-K Lites seat locked
down after impressive runs in testing recently.
The IMSA Lites
programme is good news too for other motorsport professionals, as
B-K looks to fill the posts that will be needed to ensure this and
its other programmes run smoothly.
Marcus Haselgrove
is currently asking for applications for the following positions:
1) Crew Chief / Team Leader - IMSA Lites (full time)
2) Data / Assistant Race Engineers (full / part time)
3) Truck / Transportation position with current CDL (part time).
Anyone interested
in the full time positions must be willing to relocate within the
Northern Milwaukee area of Wisconsin.
