WR Withdrawn From Sebring
The quirky French WRs are an interesting addition to any grid – but sadly the car that was due to race at Sebring won’t now leave France for the ‘new world’, and has been officially withdrawn from the event.

Laurent Chauveau at www.infoscourse.org has the full story, in French. It seems that the team’s container was delayed at Le Havre by customs officials, and by the time that was sorted out, there was insufficient time to get the car to Florida.

Gerard Welter looked at the possibility of flying the car to Florida, but that wasn’t possible either.

The team hasn’t entered the full Le Mans Series this year – so perhaps it will be a pre-Le Mans appearance at the LMS test days (March 26-27), for the car’s first appearance in 2006?
