As expected, and already listed on the entry list here, the two trios for the Aston Martin DBR9s at Sebring are Tomas Enge / Darren Turner / Nicolas Kiesa and Pedro Lamy / Stéphane Sarrazin / Jason Bright.

"I think we have an exciting and dynamic mix of established Aston Martin drivers and some new faces, who bring with them a wealth of related experience,” said George Howard-Chappell, Team Principal of Aston Martin Racing.

“Last year our performance at Sebring far exceeded our expectations but we’re not underestimating the challenge this time, especially from the factory Corvette team. I’ve no doubt it’s going to be a very tough race but I’ve every confidence that our drivers will give us the best possible chance of a good result.”

dailysportscar.comSo that’s Enge / Turner / Kiesa in 007, the red car, the other three in 009, the yellow car.

Perhaps Darren Turner ought to take on the role of 007 in the latest Bond film (he’d look rather good in that role, wouldn’t he?): apparently new Bond actor Daniel Craig can’t drive a car with a manual gearbox – and also doesn’t like guns.

Darren Turner (above) can drive a car with a manual gearbox – and could probably get used to handling a gun (as racing drivers typically like playing with anything that comes under the general description of “boys’ toys”).

George Howard-Chappell to play the role of Q? GM's Doug Fehan (a good guy) almost has the looks for a good bad guy, doesn't he (left)?
