Pilgrim In #4 At Sebring?
It’s not official yet, but we’re expecting Andy Pilgrim to be nominated to drive the #4 Corvette C6.R at Sebring next month, along with Oliver Gavin and Olivier Beretta.

dailysportscar.comJan Magnussen is racing the Team Goh Maserati at Suzuka that weekend, and Andy Pilgrim is definitely present at Sebring – to race the Cadillac in the SPEED World Challenge, and to represent GM at the Chevy SS Corral presented by Corvette.

The 54th Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring will mark Corvette’s 50th Year at the event, and Corvette fans will be treated to “unprecedented access to many behind-the-scene actions that make the 12 Hours of Sebring a world class premiere racing event”.

There is an exclusive trackside preferred area reserved for Corvettes and Chevy SS vehicles located at Sebring’s Turn 17. That will include the winning 1956 Sebring Corvette on display.

There’s also a Corvette Parade Lap sanctioned by IMSA on Thursday evening, just before the two hour night practice session - and Ron Fellows, Johnny O’Connell, Max Papis, Olivier Beretta, Oliver Gavin and Andy Pilgrim will all be present then too.

IMSA will lay on a special parade lap of milestone and historic cars on race morning, to include a tribute to Corvette’s 50th racing anniversary - with an assembly of twelve 2006 Corvette C6 Z06s selected from the registered Corral participants.
