Add Two More At Sebring – The Spykers
"Spyker Squadron is planning to enter TWO Spyder Rs for the upcoming Sebring 12 Hours,” says Team Manager Hans van Rennes.

Logic – and more than a hunch – indicates that the Dutch manufacturer will enter two cars at Le Mans.

“Technical Director Peter van Erp is spending his time behind the dyno., to make sure that the new, 3.8 litre Audi engine is up to par,” adds van Rennes.

Spyker made its (modern day) racing debut at Sebring in 2002, then competed at Le Mans in the same year and in 2003 – but the Spyder version of the interesting aluminium-bodied car should be more competitive than ever before in 2005.

This is the road car version of the Spyder, at its launch earlier this month.
