AutoCon R&S Returns
"We are definitely thrilled to be back in the ALMS," said Michael Lewis, of the confirmation that he and Tomy Drissi will share the AutoCon Motorsports Riley & Scott, at Petit Le Mans and Laguna Seca. A third driver is likely to be added for the Road Atlanta event.

dailysportscar.comVic Rice was the third driver at the team’s last race, the Sebring 12 Hours, where the R&S finished seventh overall.

The team was then overlooked for a Le Mans entry, the two drivers spending the bulk of the year racing in Trans-Am.

The big change for the end of season races is the fitting of an Elan Motorsports Technologies V8 into the Mk111C, although the team doesn’t anticipate being able to fit in any pre-PLM testing.

"I know there will be a host of strong cars in LMP, particularly with two Audis, but our dependability and increased performance potential will definitely put us in the mix," said Michael Lewis. "We may not be up front in the first couple hours but look for us later in the race.”

The team’s sights “are definitely set on a podium finish."
