Zytek - We’re Trying Very Hard (To Go To The States)
Foster (right) at Zytek has confirmed today what Chris Dyson hinted
at yesterday: the factory Zytek 04S will not be at Spa next week
for the fourth round of the LMES.
Chris Dyson was obviously
bitterly disappointed not to have a chance to drive this exceptional
car, on a track where it would have been in its element.
“Robbie Kerr has
a prior commitment that weekend,” explains Trevor Foster,
“so although Chris was very keen to do Spa, we haven’t
been able to find a replacement for Robbie or the funding to enter
There is some positive
news though. Foster again: “We’re focusing on finding
the necessary funding to race at Petit Le Mans and Laguna Seca.
We’re trying very hard, but it is very tough out there at
shown what this car can do in Europe (leading from pole at Silverstone
- below) and we’d like to show what it can do in the
DBA (Zytek) will be at Spa and the final pair of ALMS races. Let’s
hope that the factory car will join it in Georgia and California.
