Earnhardt Crashes In Infineon Warm Up
Infineon Raceway, Sonoma, California, USA – Dale Earnhardt, Jr., along with co-driver Boris Said, is out of the Grand Prix of Sonoma. After what is believed to be contact with the barrier at turn eight, the #8 Corvette burst into flames and burned to the ground.

An obviously shaken Earnhardt was taken to the track medical center on a gurney, but was previously out of the car and walking around. The Corvette C5-R is a total loss. More information as it becomes available.
