Both Lamborghinis Present At Mid-Ohio
The pair of Krohn-Barbour Racing Lamborghini Murcielago R-GTs arrived at Mid-Ohio yesterday, Wednesday, and they inevitably drew gasps of admiration from those present at the track.

The #5 Kox / Brabham car was in its fully livery, the #6 Krohn / Maxwell one not quite, yet.

Well done Dick Barbour and Tracy Krohn for accomplishing the first task, the team having had six mechanics at Hans Reiter’s base completing the Murcielagos, so that they could make it to Mid-Ohio.

#5 arrived in Miami on Monday and was taken by truck to the team’s workshop in Braselton, GA, while #6 was flown out of Frankfurt on Monday night, and then delivered straight to Mid-Ohio.

“We’ve got some of the best sports car drivers in the world, a great engineer in John Bright, and a car with huge potential,” commented Dick Barbour. “It’s really exciting to be making a return to racing with a name like Lamborghini.

“(But) we have to view Mid-Ohio as a settling-in exercise, a chance to get to know the car and how to set it up for best performance. Lime Rock next weekend will probably be much the same. But we’ve another six races after that…..”

David Brabham will practice 'his' new car for the first time only a few hours before participating in the live, on-line chat session at www.americanlemans.com at 5 p.m. (Eastern) on Friday (June 25).
