Rand Racing Ceases Activities
Blam To The Lizards
The sad news reaches this desk that “Rand Racing is not a
functioning team at this time. There are presently no plans for
further racing” – this from (former) Rand PR man David
Marino Franchitti (and
presumably the other drivers) were aware of the disbandment of the
team at the end of April, but at least top strategist Thomas Blam
(remember Marino singing his praises?) has a new role, with Flying
Blam will work with the
Flying Lizard Porsche 911 GT3-RSR cars: car 45, driven by Johannes
van Overbeek and Darren Law - currently fourth in the ALMS GT Drivers
Championship - and car 44, driven by Lonnie Pechnik and Seth Neiman.
