44 For Sebring
United Nations Motorsports Withdraws

Bob Brannon received the confirmation from team spokeswoman Jill Savage this morning: the United Nations Motorsports team was unable to secure the funding necessary and will not be at Sebring.

Ms Savage indicated that while the team was down, they are not out for the count. They are continuing their quest for funding and now have their eyes set on the LMES event at Monza, in the hope that a Le Mans invitation would follow. The remainder of the ALMS season would be next.

The Hyper Sport Panoz Esperante has also been withdrawn, leaving 44 cars for the Mobil1 12 Hours of Sebring. That total includes a still very healthy 19 cars in the GT Class.
