Wilson, Duno & Andrews For Taurus
dailysportscar.comIan Dawson (right) at Taurus Sports announces today that Phil Andrews will be joined by Milka Duno and Justin Wilson, in the CITGO Racing - Taurus Sports Lola B2K / 10 Judd at Sebring.

Phil Andrews was a Taurus regular last year, while Justin Wilson drove for Dawson in 2002, in the Ascari effort at Sebring – a race that produced an excellent sixth place in the 12 Hours (photo - below).

Wilson moved on to Formula 1 last year of course, and produced a series of excellent drives for Minardi and then Jaguar.

Milka Duno won her most recent race – the Grand Am event at Homestead, in the CITGO sponsored Crawford.

dailysportscar.com“It will be great fun to get back into a sportscar again," says Justin Wilson (left - prior to his last race in the USA, the US GP). "The opportunity to drive the CITGO Racing Taurus Sports Lola came along quite late, but I am looking forward to returning to Sebring for a second time.

"I know Milka just made history at Homestead and I am looking forward to working with both her and Phil. I am sure we can put on a competitive performance. I am treating this race as an opportunity to get race sharp for the up coming season in open wheel cars and I am looking forward to getting out there."

Dawson explains that "we've had to burn a lot of midnight oil" to make this programme happen, but describes his driving squad as a "great blend of speed, experience and personality. We're not kidding ourselves about the opposition, but we think a top five is on the cards."

Milka Duno raced with Justin Wilson in the Nissan World Series in 2002, so she'll be very familiar with his speed. Phil Andrews promises that the Lola will be around at the finish of the 12 Hours, so it should be a very solid start to the year for the Taurus Sports outfit. More news is expected from this team after Sebring....
