Petersen / White Lightning Gets Its Car
Petersen Motorsports / White Lightning Racing is the latest team to receive its Porsche 911 GT3-RSR, and an “extensive tear-down” has already begun, in preparation for building into it the team’s unique “tweaks”.

The team takes the view that preparation time is more valuable than early testing, so the car won’t run until it gets to Sebring next month.

Michael Petersen described it as “a fantastic looking car! We are all very excited to get the current car stickered-up and get it to the track soon in preparation for the 2004 ALMS season. I can hardly wait to drive it!"

Dale White “couldn't be happier with the new car. Porsche has done another exceptional job with design and manufacture. Combined with Kent Moore's meticulous preparation and we will have a winner."

”Mike Petersen and Dale White have really risen to the top of the Porsche pack in the last year with their win at Le Mans and the ALMS victory at Road America,” commented Uwe Brettel, Porsche Motorsport North America’s president. “We are confident that they will prepare their new Porsche 911 GT3 RSR very competitively to aim for the podium all year."

Craig Stanton and David Murry will certainly be aiming for the top of the podium, as the team embarks on the full ALMS schedule.
