Want To Buy A Chaparral 2E?
Chaparral Cars LLC has announced that a strictly limited edition “continuation of series” Chaparral 2E will be unveiled to the media and public at the Rolex Monterey Historic Races later this month (August 19 to 21). The event is already due to feature the historic Chaparral racers as part of the theme “2005 Great American Specials”, and the unveiling of the newly built 2E will complete the occasion.

The “continuation series” cars will be built using the original body moulds, plans and engineering drawings, under the direction of Jim Hall, of course.

The only existing example in the world of a Chaparral 2E is in the Petroleum Museum in Midland, Texas. www.petroleummuseum.org

The 2E Continuation Series will make this historic and beautiful car available for sale on a limited production run basis.

Now who's that sitting in the 'passenger seat' of the sole surviving 2E?

Jim Hall and Jim Musser from Chaparral Cars will be on hand at Laguna Seca to launch the ‘new 2E’.

The company’s new website - www.chaparralcars.com - goes on-line on August 19.
