Started racing in 1995 in the Beetle Cup, taking the ex-Mark Sumpter car to 10th place in the championship.

Switched to the Pirelli Porsche Cup between 1996-2000, claiming class championship runner-up spot in 2000 with three race wins and five seconds (Porsche 944). Winner 1996 Birkett 6 Hour Relay Race.First person in UK to race the VW New Beetle VR6.

2001: VW Cup. 16th in Championship in class A.

2002: Holly Birkett 3rd. Bill Taylor 2nd, 5th in overall handicap. EERC 4 races, 2 wins, 2nd and 3rd.

2003: British GT Cup in Golf Mk IV - best results 2 4ths EERC - 1 race 1 win. Bill Taylor - 13th, 12th in handicap.
